Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our finance team. As a Financial Analyst, you will play a key role in analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and providing insights to help the company make informed business decisions. You will work closely with various departments to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze financial data and performance to provide insights into business operations, trends, and variances.
  • Prepare and maintain financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
  • Perform financial modeling to assess business scenarios and evaluate potential investment opportunities.
  • Support the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Monitor financial performance and assist with the identification of risks and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with department heads to track financial performance against budget and forecast.
  • Provide recommendations to improve cost management, revenue growth, and overall financial efficiency.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial presentations for management and stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal accounting policies.
  • Conduct variance analysis and provide explanations for discrepancies between actual and budgeted results.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing required financial data and documentation.
  • Help with the implementation of financial controls and improvements in reporting processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Financial Analyst, Accountant, or in a similar financial role.
  • Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis tools and Microsoft Excel (Advanced level).
  • Experience with financial software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively present financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of financial modeling and forecasting techniques is preferred.

Preferred Skills:

  • CPA or CFA certification is a plus.
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to strategic decision-making.
